Dr. Elizabeth Turner is a critical care specialist and the co-director of the medical intensive care unit at UC Irvine Douglas Hospital. She has expertise in caring for critically ill patients, with a particular interest in the use of bedside ultrasound. Turner teaches critical care ultrasound nationwide for the Society of Critical Care Medicine to assist in real-time diagnosis, appropriate choice of therapy and noninvasive monitoring of treatment.
